It’s probably premature to post this before I get more done, but I’m really proud of how these legs developed.
this is the first thing i’ve drawn in like three months so FUCK IT i’m posting a wip
I can still see so many things wrong with this but FUCK IT I’m tired of staring at it.
i promise this lineart looked great before the fire nation attacked
So tired of working on this picture.
I forgot that I hate to draw architecture…
A couple cheap-ass gifs of the pictures I’ve finished lately.
I’M DONE DRAWING THIS FUCKING PICTURE OH MY GOD
You may remember I started this awhile ago; I’ve been sort of looking at it speculatively every now and again before deferring it another day. It’s actually been so long since I started it that the way I color has really changed; if some parts look like they’re done with a totally different method, well, they probably are. I think I’m happy enough with it for now (though just looking at some parts makes me cringe oh man). Maybe someday I’ll redraw it completely.
Well, this isn’t actually a WIP any more, but I like to leave the tag in for comparison’s sake.
I forget how to draw his eyes literally every single time I draw him. Black on green? Green on black? Who knows? Certainly not me!
And his facial structure is totally wrong pbbbbt hands you’re fired
Please don’t make me actually draw that shirt. I’m not sure how much more I want to polish this…
ME1 version, with eyebrow and chin scar. I might alter this for an ME2 version with the short, curly haircut; because, yanno, brain surgery.
Kirke Shepard. The most magical of Shepards, one that was made in the ME1 face creator and never spawned a facecode, making the ME3 career importer throw up. Haven’t tried since the patch, though.
Like most first Shepards, she’s based a little on myself, as far as the character creator would allow—that is, blue eyes, blond hair, freakishly pale. Though Kirke is a Spacer(/Ruthless), so at least she has an excuse. She is named after my primary goal when I began Mass Effect, all those years ago: boning aliens.
I’ll blather on more when I finish this.
so everyone in korra is really hard to draw
so I have like 20 wips maybe I should work on—
Sketch from the stream earlier. Ages and ages ago, when we were first getting information about Legend of Korra, my friends and I made a little RP based on what we knew (which was actually surprisingly accurate). This is Anyu, a talented waterbender from the Northern Water Tribe who hit the glass (ice?) ceiling hard. Fed up with traditionalism (you’ll note the bleached hair), she lit out for Republic City and independence, embracing the modern revolution and finding work as a chemist. She’s not a very powerful bender, but she has incredible finesse; sucking moisture out of the air, switching between states almost instantly, and—her particular focus—bending liquids that aren’t exactly water. Picture a water whip made of acid.
